Position Available: Tractor Driver

Number of Positions Available: 3

Location: Bay of Plenty

Payrate: $28.00 per hour

Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30

Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40

 

Kay Requirements:

At Least 2 Years or above Relevant Work Experience. or  At Least Level 4 or Above Relevant Qualification.

And Class 1 or equivalent Driver's License is required. 

 

Other Requirements:

Experience in operating tractors and other agricultural machinery.

Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor environments.

Awareness of workplace health and safety regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Driving tractors and other farm implements.
Operating tractors safely and efficiently.
Performing inspections of tractors and attachments and ensuring they are well-lubricated.
Using tractors to transport materials and pull or push Horticultural equipment.
Operating tractors in fields, Operating Farm Machinery, Spraying.
Reporting any faults or concerns to the owners.
Remaining alert while driving and maintaining the appropriate speed limit at all times.
Operating other farm equipment.
Collect all punnets and load into Delivery Vehicles.
Follow time schedules.
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate equipment.
Complete logs and reports.
Follow H&S regulations and safety standards.
Completing Job Sheets.
Meeting Delivery Deadlines.
