Job Descriptions:

Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be required to liaise with the Directors to schedule and manage concrete placing and pouring jobs, ensuring that all jobs are completed to a high standard and within their allocated time. After pouring or placing, they will also work with the team to carry out any other necessary tasks such as stripping, acid washing, water blasting and sealing concrete.

• Liasing with Directors to schedule and plan jobs for the concrete team

• Site Inductions, completion of daily Site Health & Safety paperwork for their crew.

• Planning & Directing the crew to place concrete to a high standard.

• Work with the crew to complete other necessary tasks where required such as formwork, stripping boxing, acid washing, water blasting & concrete sealing.

• Monitor jobs and worksites and ensure that all tasks assigned to the team are completed to the standard expected and on-time.

Job Requirements

• At least one year previous experience as a Concrete placer, along with finishing experience.

• Ability to work with a site team

• Ability to read site plans & schedule jobs alongside management

• Physically fit

This is a full time and permanent position.  Work up to 50 hours per week with minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00am to 4:30pm. Pay rates from $27 to $35 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

Early Starts, late finishes or additional days such as Saturday work may also be required on occasion to meet operational requirements
