We are seeking multiple reliable and hardworking General Laborers to join our team for various contracts with Auckland Council. This role involves assisting with road markings, maintenance work, and other general labor duties. As some contracts require work during the evening and night, applicants must be comfortable with flexible working hours.

This is a full time role with a minimum of 30 hours gauranteed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in road marking, maintenance, water blasting, and general labor tasks as required.

  • Operate basic tools and equipment safely.

  • Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Support the team in setting up and packing down work sites.

  • Perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, digging, and cleaning.

  • Work efficiently as part of a team to complete projects on time.

  • Comply with Auckland Council guidelines and project requirements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in general labor, road maintenance, or construction is an advantage.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and night shifts and public holidays.

  • Physically fit and capable of handling manual labor tasks.

  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.

  • Strong work ethic and reliability.

  • Must have the right to work in New Zealand.

  • A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.

  • A clear police report is required 
  • A clear drug and alcohol test report is needed.
