We are looking for you to take the lead at our store! As our Store Manager, you will be at the heart of our convenience store, ensuring seamless daily operations, delivering outstanding customer service, and driving financial success.
This role is more than just managing a store—it’s about creating an exceptional shopping experience, leading a motivated team, and maintaining high operational standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing top-notch customer service and ensuring every visitor leaves satisfied.
- Handling customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism.
- Promoting company services, special offers, and in-store products.
- Managing stock levels, pricing, and inventory control.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and council regulations.
- Keeping the store clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Overseeing equipment maintenance and coordinating with contractors.
- Hiring, training, and supervising store staff while fostering a positive team environment.
- Preparing staff schedules and ensuring proper shift coverage.
- Monitoring sales performance and implementing strategies to achieve targets.
- Developing innovative marketing strategies to boost sales.
- Preparing financial and inventory reports to maintain business efficiency.
- Ensuring accurate sales and stock reconciliation.
About you:
- A relevant qualification is required to efficiently carry out the responsibilities of this role.
- Proven New Zealand experience at supervisor/ managerial level in a retail environment for at least 1 Year or more is required in the absence of the qualification.
- Availability to work in a rostered shifts, including weekends, public holidays and late evenings
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and sales ability.
