Phoenix Recycling Group is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Coordinator to play a key role in promoting and implementing health and safety practices throughout our organisation. Reporting to the National Safety Manager, you will be instrumental in cultivating a safety-focused culture and driving the development of effective health and safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arranging Container Transport 
  • Entering Freight rates into our in-house Export system   
  • Export coordination of orders and dispatch 

  • Processing of export orders, invoices, and email inquiries 

  • Liaise with the production team in relation to stock.  

  • All Export Contracts are checked closely and amended before returning to buyer 

  • Work with the Trading Manager to ensure that all sales are processed timely and to contract 

  • All paperwork is completed accurately and timely 

  • All Imports are processed in a timely manner to avoid unnecessary charges  

  • All OBL’s and/or Final Documentation to be released in a timely manner 

  • Liaise closely with Operations, Trading, Compliance, Business Development and Yard Managers in ensuring the safe and professional operation of Phoenix Recycling Group 
  • All relevant associated paperwork and spreadsheets are kept updated and orderly 

  • Carry out any other tasks as directed by the Manager and to the required standards 

  • Approving Freight invoices  

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Freight and transport administration (2-3 years logistics experience preferred) 

  • Proficient in Microsoft suite including excel, word and outlook 

  • Customer Service experience 

  • Computer literate including excel 

  • Proficient in scheduling 

  • Strong attention to detail 

  • Able to work under strict deadlines 

  • Organisational skills 

  • Effective communication  

  • Ability to multitask

 

 This role will be a permanent and full-time job.


 A minimum of 30 hours of work are guaranteed.


 Minimum & Maximum Pay rate: $30-$35 per hour
