This is an excellent opportunity to work for an experienced and well-established Auckland based company.

We are looking for 3 full-time  (30-50 hours/week, working from Monday to Friday) Telecommunication Technician to join our team on a Permanent basis. The location of work will be within the Auckland Region.

The successful candidate must have 2 years of work experience in same filed or industry OR have relevant qualification of level 4 or higher.

Telecommunication Technician and Cable Installers are required to:

·      Read / Understand plans or technical diagrams

·      Install and maintain communications cabling & systems i.e Fibre, Copper & wireless

·      Identify & repair faults with communications cabling & systems using a variety of testing devices i.e Cable Analyzer, OTDR etc

·      Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools

·      Follow National and local building regulations and communication system standards.  i.e ASNZ, Chorus etc

·      Direct, train and assist co-workers to install, maintain, or repair communication systems, wiring or equipment

·      Works being carried out will be UFB, Chorus, and backbone fibres for commercial entities.

 

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $30 and it could be negotiated to up to $35.00 per hour depending on your personal attributes and experiences.
