Manager

We are looking for a dynamic Manager to manage our busy store located in Christchurch, Canterbury.

This is a permanent, full-time role, and we offer a minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week of work and the opportunity to do overtime. We offer competitive remuneration of $32- $35 per hour based on qualification and/or experience.

The Role

·       As Store Manager, you will plan, lead, communicate, organise and control the day-to-day running of the store to achieve the highest possible standards.

·       You must have a high attention to detail and love working in a busy environment.

·       Responsible for, stock control and management, including accurate stocktaking.

·       Responsible to decide on product pricing and responsible for establishing marketing and purchasing policies to increase revenue.

·       Monitor and check staff performance.

·       Responsible for recruitment and training of new staff.

·       Prepare monthly reports and budgeting.

·       Being able to understand and offer the best service and products to our customers.

·       You will be responsible for driving sales and promotions, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the store is compliant with all company policies and Health & Safety regulations.

About you:

·       A relevant qualification is required to efficiently carry out the responsibilities of this role.

·       Proven experience at supervisor/ managerial level for at least 1 year or more is required in the absence of the qualification.

·       Availability to work in a rostered shifts, including weekends, public holidays and late evenings.

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·       A commitment to driving sales and achieving outstanding results.

·       Stock management expertise, understanding the importance of this.
