As a Roof Applicator with our company, you will be working a minimum of 30 hours per week,and you will be responsible for:

Job Description:

  • Reviewing blueprints, specifications, and job sites to determine the necessary materials.
  • Setting up ladders and scaffolding for safe access.
  • Installing waterproof sheets over eaves for protection.
  • Securing roofing underlay to the roof using nails and staples.
  • Aligning the first row of roofing materials with the roof edges and fastening them with wire, staplesor nails.
  • Overlapping tiles systematically to ensure proper coverage.
  • Cutting roofing materials precisely to fit around vents, chimneys, corners, and ridges.
  • Using cement mortar to secure edge and ridge tiles in place.
  • Placing roofing materials beneath pre-fabricated flashing and securing them with nails.
  • Caulking and sealing exposed nail heads to prevent water leaks.

About you:

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the same field OR
  • NZQF Level 4 qualification or above
  • Physically fit with a clear criminal record
