Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise farm teams, ensuring all job requirements are met across various worker types.
• Support management in executing farm operations within budget while maximising efficiency and productivity.
• Lead and manage staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in training and guiding workers during seasonal operations.
• Assist with the creation and management of the orchard's budget, including tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and reporting on financial performance
• Manage worker schedules, ensuring enough manpower is available for various tasks, and handle employee time-off requests or shifts
• Track weather patterns, soil moisture levels, or pest forecasts to plan future actions, without being on-site daily.
• Maintain accurate staff timesheets and manage working hours.
• Help plan and prioritize daily workloads effectively.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to management.
• Ensure that orchard equipment undergoes routine maintenance or repairs as needed, scheduling service appointments or checking on its condition.
• Coordinate with the Director to ensure high-quality work is consistently delivered.
• Ensure all tasks comply with health and safety regulations.

Work Hours and Benefits
- Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week
- Paid between $27 to $30 per hour.

Other requirements:

• Minimum 12 Months of work experience in a similar role.
• Available to work on weekends and early morning shifts
• Strong time management skills
• Physically fit to work for extended periods
• Hardworking and motivated
• Keen attention to detail
• Excellent organizational abilities
