Fresh Barber Cuts is currently looking for up to four motivated and talented barbers to join their team. Fresh Barber Cuts operates three barbershops in Waikato (Chartwell, Flagstaff and Te Rapa) and are after barbers for all locations.

The role is permanent and full-time (we guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week). Applicants must be available on weekends and public holidays. The rate of pay offered is between $28 - $30 per hour.

 

We are open to employing junior, intermediate and experienced barbers. Applicants must have a minimum of 1-year relevant work experience cutting hair in a commercial environment. If you are interested in barbering and wanting to learn, hit the apply now button!

 

The barber’s job duties are: 

  • Welcoming clients and consulting with them on their desired hairstyles. 
  • Cutting and trimming hair (with scissors clippers and razors) according to clients' instructions. 
  • Shaving trimming and using cut-throat razors on beards and moustaches. 
  • Providing advice to clients on the hair products stocked. 
  • Cleaning work areas and equipment between haircuts. 
  • Booking appointments for clients (over the phone and walk-ins).  
  • Taking payments from customers.
