We seek Carpenters to join our growing team at X Square Limited, a specialist in foundation work and structural projects. The successful applicant will focus primarily on retaining wall construction and timber-related foundation work.

Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week

Job Location: Auckland

Pay Rate: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Number of positions: 2

Key Responsibilities:

  • Constructing and installing timber retaining walls

  • Performing timber framing and support work for foundations

  • Interpreting building plans and specifications

  • Ensuring work is compliant with New Zealand building codes and standards

  • Operating tools and machinery in a safe and efficient manner

 

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience 

  • Proven skills in timber foundation construction and retaining wall installation

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good physical fitness and attention to detail

  • No drug history 

  • No convictions
