Veyron Management Limited is a construction company located in Auckland.

We have 5 positions available to start immediately.

Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • Cut tiles and shape them properly to ensure they fit around obstacles and in tight corners and odd spaces using power and hand tools
  • Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue or mortar utilizing tools such as screeds, brushes and trowels
  • Align tiles and straighten them with straightedges, levels and squares to ensure patterns are even and precise
  • Cut, install, polish and surface granite and marble and ensure accuracy during the installation process for lasting results
  • Prepare various surfaces for tiling with waterproofing material or lath and by cleaning the surfaces properly
  • Create decorative wall and floor designs by laying and setting mosaic tiles in kitchens,
    bathrooms and living rooms
  • Tap tiles into place carefully using tools to properly adhere tiles to the base, making sure not to break or damage tiles
  • Apply hard tile, marble and wood tile to walls, floors, and various indoor and outdoor surfaces, including countertops and roof decks
  • Install accessory equipment, wiring and/or fixtures according to project specifications
  • Select appropriate tools and equipment needed to do a job while monitoring gauges, dials or other indicators to make sure components are working properly
  • Troubleshoot operating errors and repair equipment as needed
  • Perform quality control assessments throughout the duration of every project to ensure the completion of all work to a standard of excellence

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience as a Tiler
  • Positive approach toward teamwork
  • Good communication skills and attention to details

What we offer:
$26.50- $35.00 per hour or depends on your experience and skills.
Guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours a week, up to a maximum of 50 hours per week. Working on different sites and projects in Auckland.
