Seeking one Chef in Auckland to work for our restaurant permanently.
A desirable candidate should be:
- Have 3 years’ relevant work experience.
- Positive, punctual, honest, good at teamwork.
The minimum rate of pay is $30/hour-$32/hour, the minimum hour of work is 30 hours per week, 5 days a week.
Duties and responsibilities:

Cooking and preparing food on the menu

Creating new dishes and planning new menus

Undertaking specialised cooking duties

Maintaining the high standard of dishes including safety, presentation and presentation

Managing the kitchen staff to assure food prepared quickly and as delicious as possible

Understand food safety standards and regulation and comply them all the time

Understand and obey health and safety and hygiene regulations
-
Following the food control plan
-
Making sure the efficient operation in the kitchen

Participate in selection of kitchen staff and training
-
Food stock control and placing orders to suppliers as well as communicating food issues with suppliers
-
Estimating material and labour cost and ensuring profit margin
-
Modifying recipes to meet customer’s requirements and preferences
