SSW Horticulture Limited is looking for a Supervisor in our Te Puke based horticulture business. This is a full-time permanant position. 

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Assist in driving continuous improvement, productivity, and business growth
  • Assist in staff training, supervising and performance management to ensure that everyone is adequately in their roles. 
  • Ensuring that communiation between sites is ongoing and utilised to maintain an environment of continuous improvement. 
  • idetofying any skills gaps and assist in undertaking a recruitment and training programme to support or fulfill these. 
  • Assist in implementation of new policies and procedures. 
  • Ensuring KPIs are in place and targets are met. 
  • Ensuing business complies with relevant government legislation, policies and procedures. 
  • Assist in purchasing of operating tools, equipment and machinery. 
  • Ensure Business complies with health and safety standards. 

 

What you need:

  • Either 1 year relevant experience OR level 3 qualification (or higher). 
  • Restricted OR full driver's license
  • Can work weekends
  • Shows attention to detail
  • Be a team player
  • Good initiative and time management

 

What is on offer:

  • Weekly hours: At least 30 hours per week
  • Location: Bay of Plenty Region
  • Job Type: Full time
  • Pay: $27.80 to $29.70 per hour
