Now we are seeking Three enthusiastic Tour Guide to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting engaging tours, ensuring customer satisfaction, and providing insightful commentary about attractions. The role also includes driving tour vehicles and ensuring a safe and comfortable travel experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors, providing excellent customer service.
  • Driving tour vehicles, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the journey. 
  • Planning and conducting tours according to scheduled itineraries.
  • Arranging transportation, accommodation, and entry to attractions.
  • Controlling visitors' access to exhibits and ensuring the safety of collections.
  • Maintaining attendance records and keeping track of tour participants.
  • Providing engaging and informative commentaries, answering visitor inquiries, and distributing brochures and tour literature.
  • Showing audiovisual presentations and explaining features and procedures at tour sites.
  • Planning and rearranging schedules and itineraries as needed.
  • Assisting with the setup and dismantling of exhibits when required.
  • Ensuring all tours comply with safety regulations and company policies.

 

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 4 is mandatory
  • At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification listed above.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin, as most of our customers are from China.
  • Valid driver’s license and Strong knowledge of local attractions, culture, and history.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
