Are you a reliable truck driver looking to join a dynamic team? We are seeking a Class 5
Truck Driver to safely and efficiently transport goods to various destinations. If you have a
passion for driving and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you! It is a full-time permanent role with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
  2. Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel receipts.
  3. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route,designations,parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
  4. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
  5. Collect and verify delivery instructions and any paperwork.
  6. Report defects, accidents, or traffi c violations.
  7. Servicing, lubricating, cleaning, and refueling the plant and performing minor adjustments and repairs.
  8. Follow all SOP policies that you signed off at your induction.
  9. Check ROC, COF and registration weekly.
  10. Set up traffic management around your site at all times. Safety barriers and safety cones will be carried on your truck at all times

 

Qualifications:

 Valid Class 5 driver's license or equivalent overseas license.
 Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

 Ability to handle physical tasks, including loading and unloading items.
 Good communication skills.
 Familiarity with navigation tools and GPS devices.
 Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
