We are a busy store seeking candidate for the position of a Store Manager. A standard of excellence is expected in all points of service. This is an opportunity for someone with a good work ethic to have their high standards appreciated and rewarded. We run a dairy and a takeaway shop together.

The duties of this position are:

·         Relevant experience of two years or a relevant qualification

  • determining product mix, stock levels and service standards
  • formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices
  • promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services
  • selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use
  • maintaining records of stock levels
  • maintaining record of financial transactions
  • undertaking budgeting for the establishment
  • controlling selection, training, and supervision of staff
  • ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulation
  • Managing the takeaway which is a part of the store.
  • Ensuring health & safety regulations are met
  • Ensuring the work & cooking statation for takeaway is sanitised and clean
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Excellent customer service skill
  • Strong communication and management skills

 

Applicant must be able to do flexible working hours, including weekends and Public Holidays as the role requires.

Salary range for the position: Around $29.66 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
