Photographer

Yellow Rabbit Picture & Vision Ltd is in Auckland. We are looking for an experienced Photographer to join us. This is a full time role with a minimum 30 hours per week.

The main duty of this role is to capture high-quality images by using a camera to document people, places, events, or objects creatively.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Consulting with clients to understand the objectives of photographic assignments.
• Analysing assignment requirements and selecting the appropriate camera, film, filters, and lighting.
• Operating from a studio or transporting and setting up equipment at designated locations.
• Measuring light levels and determining optimal exposure settings.
• Adjusting camera angles, aperture settings, and subjects to achieve the desired composition.
• Modifying lighting and filters to enhance highlights and colours.
• Manipulating images using digital imaging techniques and creative darkroom processes, such as adjusting exposure and development times.
• If required, produce enlarged prints and mount or frame them.

The successful candidate must have:

• At least three years of relevant work experience or formal NZ Level 5 Diploma qualification(ANZSCO Skill Level 2) or equivalent.
• Good work attitude and good communication skills
• Strong motivation
• Physical fitness and could handle the heavy workload
• Quality workmanship and eye for detail
• Strong dedication to health and workplace safety
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with other team members.
• Strong ability to work independently
