Location: Auckland Region
Payrate: $27 per hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 40
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 45

 

Key Requirements:
At least 1 year or more of relevant experience.
or
At least Level 2 or above relevant qualification.

 

Other Must Have Requirements:

Must hold a valid New Zealand Class 4 Driver Licence.

Must have D endorsement, Forkhoist certificate and F endorsement

Must have Road ranger 2 years plus experience 

Pre employment Compulsory drug and alcohol test and random test.

Must be willing to do shift work, early start and weekends 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Class 4 trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.

  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring correct handling and securing of loads.

  • Maintain delivery schedules and ensure timely arrival at destinations.

  • Follow assigned routes and adhere to road safety and traffic regulations.

  • Complete required delivery documentation and logbooks accurately.

  • Report mechanical issues, accidents, or delays to the supervisor promptly.

  • Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and maintained according to company policy.

  • Communicate professionally with clients, dispatchers, and other team members.

  • Comply with health and safety protocols, including heavy vehicle driving standards.
