Key Responsibilities:

  • As a crucial member of our cleaning crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of commercial kitchen ventilation systems.
  • ·         Perform thorough cleaning of kitchen exhaust hoods, ducts, fans, and vents in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • ·         Conduct visual inspections to identify and report any issues or potential hazards in the kitchen exhaust systems.
  • ·         Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and any necessary repairs or replacements.
  • ·         Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at various commercial kitchen locations. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety guidelines.
  • ·         Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to address any specific requirements or concerns.

 

Position Details:

  • •         Location: Timaru – South Canterbury Region
  • •         Hours: Full-time, Permanent Position
  • •         Number of Positions: 2
  • •         Payrate: $25.00 per hour

 

Other Requirements

  • ·         Willing to work night 11pm to early morning
  • ·         Willing to work on weekends and on public holidays
  • ·         If required willing to drive the company vehicle
  • ·         Willing to go through drug-check test

 

Qualifications/Work experience:

  • ·         6 months to 2 years of work experience in cleaning sector or any labour/trade position.
  • ·         If you hold a bachelor's degree than no work experience is required.
  • ·         Hold basic knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines.
  • ·         Ability to work independently and efficiently, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
  • ·         Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
  • ·         Excellent customer service orientation skills.
