Job Description:
- Cut, trim, bone, and portion meat accurately according to customer needs and
company standards. - Prepare standard meat cuts (beef, lamb, pork, chicken, etc.) for display and
sale. - Ensure correct storage, rotation, and labeling of all meat products.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, equipment, and tools.
- Monitor the quality and freshness of meat to ensure high product standards.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety procedures.
- Provide advice to customers on meat cuts, cooking methods, and portion sizes.
- Manage inventory and report stock levels or issues to the supervisor.
- Operate equipment such as meat slicers, bandsaws, grinders, and vacuum
packers.
Job requirement:
- Please have at least two years relevant work experience, or
- Certificate NZQA Level 3or above
- Be able to work in a team
