Job Summary
A Scaffolder is responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures to support workers, materials, and equipment in construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to work at heights.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install scaffolding structures, platforms, and safety barriers.
- Inspect and assess job sites to determine scaffold requirements.
- Secure scaffolding to buildings or structures using various fittings.
- Ensure all scaffolds meet safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of scaffolding structures.
- Safely dismantle scaffolding after project completion.
- Work closely with site supervisors and construction teams to meet project needs.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job
- NZQF Level 4 qualification, OR
- At least three years of working experience in relevant industry
- Experience in scaffolding, construction, or a related trade.
- Knowledge of scaffolding systems, materials, and safety requirements. Ability to read
and interpret technical plans and instructions. - Strong physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
