Job Summary

A Scaffolder is responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures to support workers, materials, and equipment in construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to work at heights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install scaffolding structures, platforms, and safety barriers.
  • Inspect and assess job sites to determine scaffold requirements.
  • Secure scaffolding to buildings or structures using various fittings.
  • Ensure all scaffolds meet safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of scaffolding structures.
  • Safely dismantle scaffolding after project completion.
  • Work closely with site supervisors and construction teams to meet project needs.
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

  • NZQF Level 4 qualification, OR
  • At least three years of working experience in relevant industry
  • Experience in scaffolding, construction, or a related trade.
  • Knowledge of scaffolding systems, materials, and safety requirements. Ability to read
    and interpret technical plans and instructions.
  • Strong physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
