Karmaa Limited is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our warehouse operations team. This role is essential to ensuring accurate financial management, cost tracking, and compliance with New Zealand’s financial and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience or a strong academic background in accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records for warehouse operations, including inventory tracking
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely payments and invoicing
  • Reconcile warehouse-related financial statements, reports, and budgets
  • Assist in processing payroll and managing GST obligations
  • Monitor inventory levels and track costs for warehouse materials and goods
  • Support audits and ensure full compliance with New Zealand regulations
  • Provide timely and accurate financial reports to management

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting/finance role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment
    OR
    A recognized qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Finance
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks(Preferred)
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Working knowledge of New Zealand tax regulations and GST (preferred)

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: From NZD $30- NZD $35
