Golden Design and Renovation Limited is a newly incorporated company established in 2023, specialising in providing tiling services for commercial buildings, residential apartments, and houses. Due to steady business growth, we are now looking for an experienced and skilled Tiler to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles and grout, cleaning, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing areas for adhesive application
  • Apply waterproofing systems as required
  • Accurately set tiles into place, ensuring proper alignment and spacing
  • Spread and apply adhesives to both surfaces and tiles
  • Use cutting tools to shape tiles around corners and structures
  • Ensure all tiles are level and precisely positioned
  • Perform grouting work, including removing excess grout and cleaning surfaces
  • Create tile patterns or arrangements as specified by the employer or client
  • Work with a variety of materials, including slate, marble, and terrazzo, depending on project needs
  • Carry out concrete and sand cement plastering on walls and floors, including surface preparation for tiling
  • Perform other duties as reasonably required by the employer

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in tiling or flooring
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
  • Committed to meeting and exceeding customer expectations
  • Able to identify problems and implement timely, effective solutions
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit, responsible, and hardworking
  • Willing to work overtime when required
  • No history of drug or alcohol issues
  • Clean criminal record
