T8 Group – T8 Civil are looking for a Project Manager to join our civil team as part of the T8 Group based in Whangarei, Northland.

We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic and motivated manager to work on a wide range of civil projects.

You must be a capable and competent engineer who is well organised and deadline driven. We are open to applicants at Intermediate or Senior level, but you will need a minimum of 3+ years New Zealand experience and be able to work independently on projects from inception to completion.

You would need to be able to:

• Place a high value on providing excellent customer service

• Be professional and have a strong work ethic

• Demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive attitude

• Work in an office environment but be physically fit for site investigation work

• Have good computer skills

• Have excellent report writing skills


In addition to the above, you'll:

  • Lead the project teams in the successful execution and delivery of civil projects;

  • Accountable for the day to day running of the project site and progress of works;

  • Documentation required for project records and administration is completed accurately and within required time frames;

  • Prepare correspondence/programming and cost estimates;

  • Schedule works, procure contractor services and provide technical expertise as needed;

 

What you will bring to the role:

  • Hold a Civil Engineering Degree equivalent to (NZQF Level 7)

  • Have 3+ years' experience in project delivery in the Civil/Construction sector

  • Full NZ Drivers Licence
