Key Responsibilities:

  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults in vehicle engines and components.
  • Dismantle, rebuild, repair, or replace engines, mechanical parts, and systems.
  • Perform regular servicing, including changing lubricants (oil), coolants (radiator fluids), and filters.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance, such as brake replacement and system checks.
  • Test drive vehicles following servicing to ensure proper functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer details, vehicles, parts used, and service history.
  • Inspect key components and identify potential problem areas to prevent future issues.
  • Assist the WOF inspector with brake and steering system inspections.
  • Carry out other reasonable tasks as assigned by the Director.

 

Requirements:

  • At least two years of relevant experience.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in diesel engine servicing and repair is preferred.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
