Retail Manager Job Description

  • Manage in planning site operations, and planning and implementing strategies to run the business profitably and efficiently.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations and allocate tasks to staff.
  • Increase store sales and profitability by introducing new products, competitive pricing, and controlling in-store expenditures.
  • Deal with staff and weekly rosters, as well as direct and supervise them.
  • Staff training and mentoring
  • Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
  • Assume full responsibility for the site 

What we are looking for in a Retail Manager:

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in any retail /customer field OR a level 7 education (bachelor's/diploma/certificate)
  • Must be flexible enough to work on shifts in the evenings/night and over the weekend
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a dynamic team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Remuneration is negotiable for the right candidate between $25-$32 per hour

Assistant Manager Job Description

  • Assist the manager in planning site operations, and planning and implementing strategies to run the business profitably and efficiently.
  • Assist the manager in coordinating day-to-day operations  
  • Assist the manager in increasing store sales and profitability by introducing new products, competitive pricing, and controlling store expenditures. 
  • Supervise the operations of the site runs smoothly

What we are looking for in an Assistant Manager:

  • Must be flexible enough to work on shifts in the evenings/night and over the weekend
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a dynamic team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Remuneration is negotiable for the right candidate between $24-$30 per hour
