Be 6 Group Limited is looking for experienced and skilled carpenters.

 

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Your expertise will ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

  • Study Specifications: Analyze drawings and specifications to determine necessary materials, dimensions, and installation procedures.
  • Material Selection: Choose appropriate timbers and materials; prepare layouts for construction projects.
  • Cutting and Assembly: Accurately cut materials and assemble components, ensuring precise nailing of cut and shaped parts.
  • Framework Erection: Erect frameworks, panelized systems, and roof framing; lay sub-flooring and floorboards, ensuring all structures are true and level.
  • Installation: Nail fascia panels, sheath roofs, and fit exterior wall cladding, door frames, and window frames.
  • Structural Assembly: Assemble prepared wood to create structures and fittings ready for installation.
  • Joint Cutting: Skillfully cut wood joints to ensure strong, seamless connections
  • Repair Work: Perform repairs on existing fittings and structures as needed.

Location: different sites in Auckland

40 hours per week guaranteed

pay: $28 per hour

 

Requirement: 

  • At Least 2 years of  carpentry or construction work experience OR,
  • A relevant training qualification (eg. building ,or construction or carpentry) at Level 4

 

Other skills and experience required: ·

  • the ability to properly use and maintain tools
  • the understanding of building and safety regulations
  • Teamwork spirit 
  • Flexibility of work place: may work from site to site within Auckland
  • Compliance with safety and health regulations 
  •  Able to pass the drug test and police check 
  •  Work on the weekends or public holiday when required
