Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Production Engineer to oversee and optimize manufacturing operations in our door production facility. The successful candidate will apply their engineering knowledge—particularly in electronics and systems integration—to improve productivity, ensure quality, and streamline production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse production data, workflow, and workforce utilisation to improve process
    efficiency and reduce wastee
  • Design, implement and maintain automated systems and equipment to support modern door manufacturing
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of machinery, including electronically controlled systems
  • Assist in the layout planning of plant and machinery for maximum output and safety
  • Develop and implement work measurement programs and labour utilisation standards
  • Coordinate and manage production schedules, material flow, and labour allocation
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
    methodologies
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and engineering
    specifications
  • Collaborate with design and maintenance teams to ensure manufacturability and
    serviceability of products
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff
  • Monitor and control project budgets and timelines related to production improvements

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

  • Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • At least five years of working experience in relevant industry
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, automation, and production
    planning
  • Knowledge of electronic control systems used in industrial equipment
  • Proficiency in data analysis, CAD software, and industrial automation tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, etc.) and safety compliance
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
