We are looking for someone who is committed to daily, weekly, monthly and yearly records and reports that are required to maintain the optimum standard of the business.

The role is crucial and responsible for day-to-day operations and team management in conjuction with the Oyster Farm Manager. This is real hands-on role; you'll be dealing with all aspects of compliance and quality assurance management regarding our Oyster Operation.

 

You'll be someone who is sensible and mature with great leadership, problem-solving and judgment skills, ensuring that all activities on site are perfomred safely, efficiently and in a way that meets regulations and safety standards. 

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Managing farm and factory employees and operations. 
  • Managing the processing of oysters (farm and factory) to ensure high quality product is delivered to customers, including checking for dead oysters and general quality control. 
  • Conducting Internal and External Audits
  • Supervising and managing the support programmes: Tool and equipment maintenance, Calibration, Vermin control, staff training, Non-conformance register, etc.
  • Being alert for any identified fodo safety or health and safety hazards and identifying any new or novel hazards and reporting them to management.
  • Completing duties under the RMP relating to oyster processing.
  • Conducting E-certs fro Export purposes.
  • Assisting Oyster Farm Manager to supervise processing staff to ensure RMP complied with and order met and dispatched on time.
  • Any other duties as reasonably required.

 

Qualifications: Having a relevant qualification is an advantage but not required.

Work Experience: Having relevant experience is an advantage but not required.

Hours: Minimum guaranteed hours of 30 per week.

Hourly rate or Salary Band: $29.66 to $45.00
