Experienced/qualified Bricklayers Wanted

Job type: Full Time (30 – 50 hrs/wk)

Duration: Permanent

Pay range: $28 - $33/hr

Description

We are seeking experienced bricklayers to join our construction team. An ideal candidate will have the right skills, a strong work ethic, excellent attention to details, the ability to work independently, and is also a good team player.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Interpreting and working from plans and specifications

·        Measuring and cutting bricks, blocks or stones to the required size using hand and power tools.

·        Laying bricks, stones, blocks, and other masonry materials to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, and other structures.

·        Ensuring quality workmanship in all aspects of bricklaying

·        Operating construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently.

·        Collaborating with team members supervisors and site managers to complete projects on time

·        Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order

Qualifications and Skills:

·        At least two years of relevant experience is required.

·        Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques, materials, and tools.

·        Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

·        Ability to work out material quantity requirements for ordering and placing orders.

·        Steel fixing experience for block wall construction is preferred.

·        Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.

·        Good attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship.

·        Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
