Site Supervisor

We are currently seeking reliable, full-time Site Supervisors to join our team. The position requires working 30 hours per week. The starting hourly rate will range from $30 to $39, depending on skills and qualifications. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of related tasks, including:

1. Supervise daily site operations, ensuring that tasks are completed according to plans, specifications, and timelines.
2. Coordinate and manage construction staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow. 
3. Ensure the health and safety of workers by enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
4. Monitor high-risk activities and ensure appropriate safety measures, such as hazard identification, risk assessment, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), are implemented and adhered to.
5. Perform quality control checks and inspections to maintain high standards on-site.
6. Communicate with the project manager and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and report any issues or delays.
7. Manage and maintain construction equipment, tools, and materials to ensure they are available and in good working condition.
8. Monitor the work environment for compliance with relevant safety and environmental regulations.
9. Assist with the training and mentoring of new staff and workers.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a site or safety supervisor role, or a similar position, preferably with a background in construction or heavy industry.
• Proven ability to manage operations and lead diverse teams in a dynamic setting, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Availability to work early mornings and weekends, depending on work arrangements.
• Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions and at heights.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to adhering to safety procedures and guidelines.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and police check is required.
