We are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to lead cleaning services within Otago region.  In this pivotal role, you will provide leadership and operational cleaning delivery of effective day to day non-clinical support service, whilst maintaining strong and positive relationships with the cleaning staff and all departments.

We offer excellent pay rate from $45 - $50 per hour depending on what you bring to the role. You will be based in Otago region. Your flexibility is important; however we guarantee minimum of 30 hours and maximum of 50 hours a week.

You will be managing the business overall and ensuring that our clients are satisfied with the services provided and work on building new contracts. The operations manager must be a mature person who can take responsibilities for various sites to ensure that business provides excellent service to clients with no complaints.

You will be responsible for;

  • To lead and inspire a team of Supervisors and Cleaners across multiple locations
  • Manage daily operations, staff performance, rostering, and recruitment
  • Drive excellence in cleaning service delivery aligned with organisational values
  • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and contract efficiencies
  • Champion continuous quality improvement and health & safety compliance
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet evolving service needs

About You

You’re a team player with a positive outlook and strong work ethic. You will also have;

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience relevant of proven success in an operations management role or a minimum qualification at Level 5 or above (or equivalent) in relevant field.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and staff development skills
  • Sound knowledge of operational budget management and service optimisation
