This role supports the Operations team by safely and efficiently assisting
with manual demolition and asbestos removal, in accordance with
industry regulations and company guidelines

 

Minimum 30 hours per week

 

Responsibilities:
● Assist with the dismantling and demolition of structures under supervision.
● Handle tools and equipment as required for demolition activities.
● Ensure materials are properly sorted and disposed of in compliance with environmental
regulations.
● Assist in the safe removal of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs), following proper
protocols.
● Work with the team to ensure that all containment measures (e.g., sealing work areas) are
properly implemented.
● Participate in the cleaning and decontamination process post-removal.
● Assist with maintaining a tidy and organized work environment.
● Ensure that tools and equipment are stored safely when not in use.
● Assist with loading and unloading materials and waste, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
● Collaborate with team members to ensure project efficiency and assist with additional
tasks as needed.
● Monitor demolition and asbestos removal progress and address any issues as they arise.
● Carry out other tasks and follow instructions for work completion on-site or in the yard.
● Ensure the site and yard is kept clean and organized.
● Adhere to the asbestos regulations 2016 at all times.
