We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Painter (Trade Worker) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on active construction sites, applying paint and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces of residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. You’ll be responsible for surface preparation, priming, painting, and finishing in accordance with project plans and safety standards.

You'll be responsible for: 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare building surfaces by scraping, sanding, caulking, and patching drywall or other surfaces

  • Apply paints, stains, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment

  • Follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate application

  • Ensure all surfaces are properly protected (taping, covering fixtures, etc.) prior to painting

  • Maintain and clean painting tools and equipment

  • Work at heights and on scaffolding or ladders when required

  • Assist with estimating materials and time needed for tasks when required

  • Collaborate with other trades on-site to maintain workflow and job site safety

  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and job site safety standards

  • Perform minor drywall repairs, texture matching, and surface leveling

  • Pay rate: $24 per hour 

  • Days required: 5 days/week (must be available on Saturday and/or Sunday) 

  • Hours per week: at least 30, maximum 55 hours/week 

About You 

  • Relevant Diploma or above is required and must have at least five years of relevant work experience. 

  • Familiarity with painting tools, materials, and techniques

  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions (if outdoors)

  • Good physical stamina and manual dexterity

  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work

  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
