MARVELLOUS CONSTRUCTION LIMITED Introduction: 

Marvellous Construction Limited, established in 2022, proudly serves clients across the Auckland region. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our small but growing construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, formwork, fittings, and finishing work across residential and small commercial projects. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

What we offer:

A Full-time permanent role - 30 minimum guaranteed work hour per week

The rate of pay or salary: $29.60 to $31 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, timber, and other materials according to specifications.
• Construct and install building frameworks, walls, floors, doors, windows, roofing, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with formwork and concrete preparation as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other team members, tradespeople, and site supervisors.
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, health and safety regulations, and company standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
• Perform other general construction duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in residential or light commercial carpentry work.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor.
• Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is a real bonus as our primary clients come from the Asian market, particularly Chinese clients. We will certainly consider all candidates.
• Availability to work in weekends and public holidays when required
• Driver's license preferred.
