The Position
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join the Brisbane Region on a permanent basis. This opportunity will give you diversity across industry sectors.
The Candidate
Key capabilities include:
- Oversee construction contracts and ensure projects meet specifications and deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members on contract-related questions and issues.
- Assist with the procurement of materials across various projects, including delivery to site
- Draft subcontract documentation
- Review, develop and administer trade packages scope of work before calling for tenders
- Assess quotes, negotiate, and provide tender price comparisons and recommendations
- Handle and evaluate variations and claims with project teams.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Contracts Administration.
- Experience working on different commercial projects.
- Knowledge of Brisbane/QLD construction market and subcontractors.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
