About Us:

Hongxian Ltd is a well-established food manufacturing company specializing in high-quality  (meat rolls). Due to business expansion, we are seeking a highly skilled Factory Manager to oversee our production operations and ensure efficiency, compliance, and quality control within our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily factory operations, including production planning, quality control, and staff supervision.

  • Implement and monitor health and safety standards to comply with New Zealand food safety regulations.

  • Ensure efficient use of raw materials, equipment, and labor to maximize productivity.

  • Develop and enforce production schedules to meet customer demand and maintain consistent product quality.

  • Oversee staff training, performance management, and adherence to workplace policies.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure a steady supply chain for raw materials and finished goods.

  • Monitor operational budgets and cost controls to maintain profitability.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Relevant Diploma level 6 in businesses, commerence or management or any field with bachelor degree or higher qualification
  • At least three years of relevant experiences may substitute for the above qualifications

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and workplace health & safety practices in New Zealand.

  • Experience in production planning, stock management, and process improvement.

  • Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize efficiency.

  • Fluent in English (Mandarin or Cantonese proficiency is an advantage).
