We are looking for an outstanding Accountant to assist our team currently with accounting for Mobil Johnsonville and Mobil Silverstream.

They will be primarily responsible for: 

  •              Leading accounting, finance and audit related activities for all the group companies.
  •              Prepare financial statements and reports for company management.
  •     Participate in reviewing the company’s income and expenditure. Analyse the company’s financial performance. 
  •        Advise on budgets and cash flows. Assist in formulating the company’s budget planning.
  •      Maintain accurate records in the accounting information system and monitor the efficiency of existing accounting procedures.
  •       Managing the AP, AR, and payroll and monthly metrics review meetings.
  •       Comply with direct and indirect taxation obligations. Compliance-based financial reporting.

  

Please note this role requires an highly experienced professional with proven experience in a similar organization.

 Qualifications & Experience Required:

·        Minimum Bachelor's degree in Commerce.

·        At least 5 years’ experience in a similar level finance role may substitute for the qualification.

·        Sound understanding of accounting and tax legislation.

·        Experienced in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reporting.

·        Experience with AP, AR, and payroll and monthly metrics review meetings.

·        Experience complying with direct and indirect audit and taxation obligations.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presenting to senior leaders.

·        Proficient Office 365 skills and IT capability with related software programmes.

·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
