Carpenter – Auckland Region

 

l  Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $33.00

l  Working Hours: Minimum 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

l  Work Location: Within Auckland Region

l  Type of Employment: Full-time/Permanent

 

About the Role - 

 

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber structures
  • Installing and repairing frameworks, walls, doors, and windows
  • Constructing and installing roofing, cladding, and trusses
  • Preparing and assembling formwork for concrete foundations
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Ensuring all work meets building codes and safety standards

 

We’re Looking for - 

 

  • At least 3 years of relevant carpentry experience; or an NZ Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4) in substitution
  • Be able to work in New Zealand lawfully
  • Physically fit and reliable
  • Basic draughting skills, including sketching and reading
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Hardworking and enthusiastic about carpentry
  • Pass drug, alcohol, medical and MOJ checks
  • Own hand & power tools are preferred, however, basic tools are provided by the company
  • Own means of transportation is highly preferred, as this position requires shifting from site to site.
