Painter – Auckland Region

 

l  Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $33.00

l  Working Hours: Minimum 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

l  Work Location: Within Auckland Region

l  Type of Employment: Full-time/Permanent

 

About the Role

 

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming
  • Applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and structures
  • Mixing and matching paints to achieve the desired colour and consistency
  • Using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment for even application
  • Repairing and filling cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections
  • Ensuring all work meets quality standards and safety regulations

 

What We’re Looking For

 

  • At least 3 years of relevant painting experience; or a relevant NZ Certificate (Level 4) in substitution
  • Be able to work in New Zealand lawfully
  • Physically fit and reliable
  • Basic draughting skills, including sketching and reading
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Hardworking and enthusiastic about carpentry
  • Pass drug, alcohol, medical and MOJ checks
  • Own hand & power Tools are preferred, however, basic tools are provided by the company
  • Own means of transportation is highly preferred, as this position requires shifting from site to site.
