Opportunity:
This is a permanent position, based in New Plymouth  working in Taranaki regions and we are looking for three Scalfolders. This is a full time role working Monday to Sunday (minimum 30 hours per week), with an hourly rate reflective of your relevant experience.

About You:
You will need to have a minimum of 3 years experience

The Job:
You will be required to install and dismantle scaffold and edge protection on both residential and commercial construction sites. This also includes monitoring health and safety for yourself and others, driving company vehicles, maintaining clean and tidy vehicles and yard, and representing the our company to customers and public with pride.

 

Key Tasks:

  • Loading and unloading scaffolding equipment from yard to job site and vice versa.
  • Securing a stable base for scaffolding.
  • Erecting scaffolding of various configurations.
  • Dismantling and removing scaffold and edge protection upon completion.
  • Laying planks for workers to walk on.
  • Assist in identifying hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, working practicing codes and policies

 

  • Undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
  • Have a clear criminal record.
