We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Scaffolding Labourer to support our scaffolding team on various construction sites. This is a physically demanding role that involves assisting with the loading, unloading, handling, and basic assembly of scaffolding materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be safety-conscious, and willing to learn on the job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in loading and unloading scaffolding components on site.
- Carry and position scaffolding materials as directed by senior scaffolders.
- Support the team with the basic setup and dismantling of scaffolds under supervision.
- Perform manual handling tasks safely and in accordance with health and safety procedures.
- Clean and maintain scaffolding tools and equipment.
- Follow site safety instructions and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Help keep work areas tidy and free of hazards.
- Report any safety concerns or damaged equipment to the supervisor immediately.
- Work cooperatively with other trades and site staff to ensure scaffolding is ready when needed.
Work Environment:
- Work takes place outdoors on construction and industrial sites.
- The role involves working in various weather conditions and may require working at heights under supervision.
Skills and Attributes:
- Basic understanding of construction site safety.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Punctual, reliable, and willing to learn.
- Previous experience in scaffolding or construction labouring is an advantage but not essential.
