We are looking for slaughtermen for the new season, commencing in September/October 2025.
This hands-on role operates on two shifts, day-shift and night-shift. Exact hours may vary depending on the season. Overtime rates apply.

The essential tasks and responsibilities of the job are:
- Stun and kill livestock
- Prepare carcasses for further processing by removing head meat, internal organs, and skins.
- Adhering to health, safety, and food regulations.
- Cleaning and sanitising equipment and work areas.
- Other associated tasks as required.
You must have:
- at least 1 year previous experience within the meat processing industry with a preference for 2-3 years.
- knife handling and sharpening skills.
- Capacity to work in a fast paced environment.
- Have a sound understanding of good hygiene and safety practices.
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and medical assessment, together with ongoing drug testing.
- Willing and able to follow workplace health and safety rules.
- A high level of physical fitness and the ability to stand on your feet for prolonged periods of time.
