We are looking for a full time Fibrous Plasterer/ceiling fixer to join our team 

  • Location: Auckland 
  • Number of positions available : 1
  • Employment type:  Permanent, Full time position 
  • Days Required: Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm some Saturday and overtime hours available
  • Hours per week: Minimum 30h per week and maximum 45 hours per week.
  • Hourly rate: $27.00 to $32.00 depending on experience 

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience 
  • Open full time work permit in New Zealand 
  • NZ Full drivers licence would be and advantage
  • Be a self-starter, competent, disciplined, and hardworking 
  • Current Site Safe 
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Competent in building 2-way suspended ceilings and screwfix 
  • Good communication Skills 
  • Can read seismic plans
  • Have your own basic tools and transport
  • Must be able to follow instructions, hit deadlines and work well under pressure

 

Job Description

  • Measuring marking and cutting plasterboard lifting and positioning panels and securing them to walls ceilings and battens
  • Plumbing and straightening corners angles and wall and ceiling surfaces
  • Preparing corner beads and securing them in position
  • Covering joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds and smoothing them using wet brushes and sandpaper
