Join our dynamic food import and distribution company based in Auckland. We source quality confectionery & food products from overseas and wholesalers; and distribute them to retail shops in New Zealand.
We are looking for a motivated and organised Marketing Coordinator to help us expand our reach and drive sales through local retailers and create new business opportunities and relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and approach local retailers who can stock our food & Confectionery products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new business clients
- Seek and evaluate new business opportunities to grow sales.
- Collaborate with management to develop and execute marketing strategies.
- Regularly travel across Auckland and other regions as needed to meet clients and establish new business opportunities.
- Maintain a client database and track sales progress.
- Provide feedback to management and advise on market trends, product mix, pricing strategies and customer preferences.
About You:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing / Business or similar
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have a valid Full NZ Driver Licence or ability to obtain one
- Hindi and/or Punjabi language skills would be an advantage (not essential)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently
Applicant must be able to do flexible working hours, including weekends and Public Holidays as per the role requirements.
The pay rate for the position is in the range of $26 to $30.00 per hour, depending on your experience / qualification.
