YD Future Limited is a construction company in Auckland. As our company is growing fast and due to high volume of work, we are currently looking for five carpenter to join our team. 

These are full-time permanent positions based in Auckland with a minimum of 30 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

 

What you will do:

  • review blueprints and plans to identify required materials, measurements, and installation methods;

  • select timber and other materials, and prepare layouts; 

  • Shape or cut materials strictly comply with blueprints, sketches or building plans; 

  • assemble and fasten parts; 

  • build frameworks and roof structures, lay sub-floor and floorboards and other structures as required; 

  • Build any wooden products as required in project and able to repair them when damaged;

  • Identify and repair, replace or remove defective parts from structures or wooden products;

  • make wood joints; 

  • Adhere to safety rules and regulations, keep the work environment safe and clean; 

 

What you will have:

  • 3+ years carpentry experience or relevant level 4 qualification if no work experience;

  • Ability to work unsupervised;

  • A team player, reliability and a great work ethic;

  • Attention to detail, efficient and accurate on your job;

  • Ability to supervise other team members when required;
