What You Will Do in this Multi-Faceted role

Job Description:

 - Business & Site Operations:

  • Liaise with the directors for business planning

  • Manage the overall business operations

  • Plan and manage daily workforce deployment to the worksites, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services

  • Coordinate with external stakeholders like the subcontractors, suppliers, service providers, orchard owners and internal staff like the team leaders, orchard workers, maintenance staff, etc. to resolve workflow issues and ensure seamless site operations at all times

  • Ensure all workplace practices meet the relevant compliance standards with special focus on workplace health, safety and all government regulations at all times

  • Support the preparation and submission of audit documentation and client reports related to site activities

  • Build strong relationships with orchard owners, contractors, and consultants to foster long-term business partnerships

  • Identify new business opportunities and support negotiations and onboarding of new orchard clients and execute the service contracts

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date business and financial records like invoices, etc.

 

 - Workforce Management:

  • Recruit, Train and Manage staff as required for efficient business operations

  • Monitor the team leaders and other staff for their performance, attendance and adherence to job expectations through field visits and regular check-ins

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff records, employment agreements, compliance documents

  • Prepare daily duty rosters, timesheets and other operational reports

  • Accurately calculate and process the payroll and other business payments

  • Conduct daily meetings with the staff and mentor them to enhance their performance and develop a strong, reliable work culture

Must Have: 

  • High level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality
  • Attention to detail and level of accuracy to manage large amounts of data

  • Ability to work independently to achieve results within tight deadlines

  • Excellent problem solving,  multitasking and time management skills

  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, etc.

 

It will be an added advantage if you have: 

  • A Diploma or a Bachelors Degree or proven Experience in workforce coordination, operations management, or field supervision
