Our Client in Auckland is looking for a qualified and experienced Auto Electrician and Service technician   to join their growing workshop team in Auckland.

We are looking for an independent worker who is a go-getter and not afraid of hard work.

Hourly rate $29.00- 45.00 p/h (package negotiable for suitable candidate )

Minimum 35 Hours, Maximum 45 Hours per week. 

3+ years of related experience OR a relevant qualification is required. 

Must be eligible to work and currently be living in New Zealand.

Duties: 

  • Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Dignisise, Repair, and servicing 
    • Install new electrical components and conduct electrical upgrades
    • Maintain detailed records of all work performed
    • Diagnosing problems with vehicle electrical systems, rewiring, repairing damaged electrical parts, and maintaining electrical equipment.
    • Provide on-site support and troubleshooting as needed
    • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant standards and regulations

The Person: To be successful in this position, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills:

 

  • Demonstrate initiative

  • Class 5 Driver's Licence ( will be an advantage)

The role reports to the Workshop Manager.
