Flamingo is looking for two Scooter Mechanics to support our fleet operations by assembling, maintaining, and repairing electric scooters across New Zealand!

Position Details:

      Location: Auckland

      Hours: minimum 30 per week

      Hourly Rate: NZD $33.56

Key Responsibilities:

   Repair & Maintenance: Diagnose and repair scooters with mechanical or electrical issues

      Assemble Scooters: Configure new scooters to manufacturer and company standards

      Workshop Management: Maintain tools and a clean, safe work environment

      Record Keeping: Log all repairs and maintenance tasks in our systems

      Safety Checks: Perform post-repair testing and support H&S compliance

      Support Operations: Help prepare and deploy scooters for daily service

Qualifications & Experience:

   Previous experience in mechanical or electrical repair (scooters, bikes, small engines, or similar)

      Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility

      Comfortable working with tools and diagnostic equipment

      Able to work independently and in a team setting

      Full, clean Class 1 driver’s licence (preferred)

      Forklift licence beneficial

      Must pass drug testing and have a clean criminal record

      Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings and late nights (4am–3:30am Rotating Shifts)
